My writing is deeply rooted in real-life experiences growing up in an African American household where love, structure, and resilience shaped who I am. As a U.S. Navy veteran, I bring discipline, purpose, and service into my work, but my creative journey began long before the military. I’ve always believed in the power of storytelling to heal, teach, and connect.

I write children's books inspired by my own upbringing, books that reflect the realities of growing up in communities that face real challenges like bullying, poverty, prejudice, and generational trauma. But at the heart of every story is hope. My stories highlight the strength of family, the lessons passed down through generations, and the belief that where you come from can be your greatest source of pride.
